About Me

Welcome To SincerelySuki!

Hello, my name is Samar

I decided to create this blog to help people reach a happy place when it comes to food and diet. In today’s image conscious society everyone is perpetually concerned with how they look, and what they should eat. Which eating plan to follow, plant based, vegetarian, keto, paleo, the list goes on.
When it comes to fitness and the overflow of information from bloggers and trainers online it is hard to know what to do, especially if you are not

my name is Samar
which is pronounced like Summer but spelled differently and doesn’t mean summer the season (It means scintillating conversations held underneath moonlight).
I am a medical graduate who studied nutrition yet found myself with the worst eating habits ever.
They say knowledge is power, which is true but only if you know how to apply it.
I have always suffered from one form of eating disorder or another spanning the last eighteen years. Because my BMI falls in the ‘normal’ range and I am no longer a teenager I really thought there was nothing wrong with my eating habits.
I feel as you get older you start to concern yourself more about what you eat and leading a healthier lifestyle
Not because you want to look great in jeans but because you want to improve your quality of life as you get older. As we ease into our thirties, we may start to feel less energetic and more sluggish then we did in the previous decade and try to live better by ‘clean eating’ and taking regular exercise more seriously than before.
Typing something like ‘How to lead a healthy lifestyle?’ will leave you inundated with somewhat contradicting information.
Go vegan, cut out dairy, cut out grains, paleo, vegetarian, intermittent fasting, keto, high carb and the list goes on.
Surprisingly even after I had finished my studies with nutrition, I felt overwhelmed with all the information I had and didn’t really know what to do with it and how to implement it.
I experimented with different eating plans and exercises
and I’m here to help share my experiences and knowledge. Remember what works for one person may not necessarily work for another.
This blog is a convergence of all the knowledge I have cultivated during the past decade or so.
There is a primary focus on a holistic approach to intuitive nutrition.
There are also tools to help with general fitness and skincare, two of my passions since I can remember.
If you suffer from an eating disorder please get help as it is not a sustainable way to live. Also click on my ‘Eating Disorder’ tab to see my tips and tricks on how to eat better and normally.
